The 2015 Women's Oceania Basketball Championship , the sixteenth Women's Oceania Basketball Championship , took place between August 15 and 17, 2015 in Melbourne , Australia and Tauranga , New Zealand . It was the third time that New Zealand and Australia hosted the tournament together. The winner was the team from Australia , which could win the title for the fifteenth time. In the series, New Zealand was clearly beaten 2-0. Since the series was decided after the second game, a third game was omitted.
