Variations

Too much tissue, on the other hand, can lead to increased pressure, which also makes healing difficult due to permanent irritation.
If the belly button is arched outwards, there is usually no possibility of piercing the surrounding skin tissue. Instead, however, the navel itself can usually be pierced.
