Career

societies

FK Taras

Bauyrschan Islamchan began his career in the youth team at the Kazakh club FK Taras . He had his first professional game in the Kazakh Premier League as an 18-year-old on March 6, 2011 against Ertis Pavlodar ; the game ended in a 1-0 defeat for Taras. In the 2011 season , Islamchan was part of the squad as a regular player in 27 appearances and was able to score a total of two goals. He scored his first professional goal in a 3-1 home win against Vostok Öskemen on April 24, 2011. In the next 2012 season , the 19-year-old Islamchan was appointed team captain of FK Taras and scored four goals in 22 appearances. Due to his good performance during the season, he was voted the best young player of the Qasaqstannyng Futbol Federazijassy by the coaches of the Premjer League teams .

FK Kuban Krasnodar

In 2013, the midfielder was signed by the Russian club FK Kuban Krasnodar . In February 2013 he signed a three-year contract with the Russian first division club until 2016, the transfer fee was 200,000 US dollars. The sports director of Krasnodars said of him, “He is considered one of the most talented footballers in his home country. His early debut with the Kazakh national team and the fact that he was the captain of Kazakhstan's youth team are proof of this. So it is no coincidence that Islamchan showed his worth in the recent CIS Cup . He not only caught our attention, but also that of the Premjer-Liga experts who select young football players for their teams. ”In the Premjer-Liga, however, he was not used, he only played for the second team for six months from Kuban Krasnodar. After Dorinel Munteanu became Krasnodar's coach, the team was rebuilt and Islamchan's chances of getting a place in the first team continued to decline.

On June 6, 2013 Islamchan was loaned to FK Astana for the remainder of the 2013 season. Here he came on seven missions under coach Ioan Andone . He played his first game for Astana on June 23, 2013 in the away game against FK Aqtöbe (1: 2). For Astana, he also made his UEFA Europa League debut in the qualifier against Botev Plovdiv , which the team lost 1-0. On July 14, 2013 he scored his only goal for FK Astana against Aqschajyq Oral .

FK Qairat Almaty

For the 2014 season he moved to FK Qairat Almaty , where he received a contract until the end of 2016. There he was able to establish himself as a regular player and so came to 31 missions this season, scoring five goals. After Samat Smaqow was suspended from the club on misconduct in October, Islamchan became a key figure in midfield and the new captain of the team. At the end of the season he was voted Kazakhstan's Footballer of the Year and was able to assert himself against top scorer Foxi Kéthévoama , among others . In November he was also able to celebrate winning the Kazakh Football Cup with his club .

From the 2015 season , Islamchan was also permanently the new team captain. Just one point behind FK Astana , he finished the season in second place with Qairat. The club managed to win the Kazakh Cup under their captain , with Islamchan scoring two goals in the competition. In the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League he scored three times for his club this season. He scored his first goal in the Europa League on July 9, 2015 against FK Red Star Belgrade (2-1). After Almaty had survived all three qualifying rounds, they were eliminated in the play-offs against Girondins Bordeaux .

In the 2016 season he played all but one of 32 league games and with 17 goals scored he was third in the list of top scorers in the Premjer League behind Gerard Gohou (22 goals) and Roman Murtasajew (18 goals). In July 2016, he turned down an offer from FK Astana to move to the capital club at the end of his contract.

Before the start of the 2019 season , he suffered a muscle injury in the training camp. Because of this, he underwent an operation in Germany at the beginning of April. Due to injury, Islamchan missed the first nine games of the season and only returned to the squad on matchday ten. Islamchan did not renew his contract with Almaty, which expired in December 2019, and was initially without a club from January 2020. On January 17th, he traveled to the training camp of the Russian first division club Zenit St. Petersburg in Qatar , where he took part in training.

al Ain Club

After Islamchan was unable to convince Zenit at the training camp, he signed a contract with al Ain Club from the United Arab Emirates on January 31, 2020 , which will initially run until June 2020.

National team

On June 3, 2011, Islamchan made his debut in the Kazakh U-21 national team . In the qualifying game for the U-21 European Football Championship against Romania (0-0) he was on the pitch from the start until he was replaced in the 77th minute. He was in the qualification for three more games for Kazakhstan on the field and retired with the team on the penultimate group place from the competition. He scored his first goal for the U-21 team on January 21, 2013 in a friendly against Russia (3-7). Since then he has also been the team captain. To qualify for the U-21 European Football Championship in 2015 , he played six more games, scoring the winning goal and his first goal in the competition on June 11, 2013 against Belarus with the 0: 1.

Bauyrschan Islamchan made his debut for the Kazakh national team in 2012 in a friendly against Latvia (0-0) on February 29, 2012. He scored his first goal for the national team on August 12, 2014 in a friendly against Tajikistan (2-1) ). On September 4, 2016, he led the national team onto the field as captain for the first time.
