Ben Cooke

Benjamin Cooke (born March 17, 1974 in Leeds ) is an English stuntman and actor .

Life

Cooke began his film work as a stuntman in the early 1990s. At first he was hired for numerous television series and television films, especially for the television series Hercules , he worked as a stuntman between 1995 and 1998. In 1999 he first worked as an actor for an episode of the series.

His first feature film was the New Zealand production Snakeskin in 2001 . In the same year he worked as a stuntman in Peter Jackson's literary film The Lord of the Rings: The Companions with. He was also featured in the sequel published a year later. However, as with his work on the Harry Potter films, he was not named in the credits.

Cooke worked on Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith as a stuntman and actor. In 2006 he was hired for Casino Royale as a stunt double for lead actor Daniel Craig , where he also played briefly as an actor. For the second James Bond film with Craig in the lead role, which opened in 2008 under the title Quantum of Solace , Cooke played the protagonist's stunt double again.
