The Beovizija 2018 took place on February 20, 2018 and was the Serbian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon ( Portugal ).

When Serbia announced its participation for 2018, they first wanted to make another internal selection. On October 9th, however, it was announced that Beovizija would return as a preliminary decision after nine years of abstinence . In 2018, however, a semi-final was not held and a final was organized with 17 participants. Voting was 50% by a jury and 50% by televoting. Due to the language rule in the preliminary round, in which all contributions must be in Serbian, the country sang in its national language for the first time since 2013.
Choice of contribution
From August 20 to October 20, 2017, contributions could be submitted to RTS . Of the 75 entries submitted, 17 were selected for the final.
Attendees
On January 22, 2018, RTS presented all 17 participants. Among them were Rambo Amadeus , who already represented Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 , and Sanja Ilić , who composed the Yugoslav contribution for the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 . All articles were published on February 7th.
