Bernhard Jablonski

Bernhard Jablonski (* 5 August 1924 in Königsberg / Prussia ), is a German artist and Designers ( designer ), sculptor , photographer and university teachers . From 1976 to 1985 he was rector of the college for design in Pforzheim . He founded the transportation design department as one of the first university courses for automotive design worldwide.

After participating in the war and imprisonment, he studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with a grant from the German National Academic Foundation .

From 1954 he worked as a freelance sculptor and designer . In 1963 he received a teaching position and a professorship at the University of Applied Sciences in Pforzheim (FHG). There he built up the industrial design course and headed it. From 1976 to 1985 he was the rector of the FHG Pforzheim and, among other things, the initiator of the motor vehicle design course , now transportation design (currently the only training facility in Germany out of a total of 4 worldwide).

In 1985 he was retired from university service.

Until 2000 he worked as a freelance industrial designer . Since then he has intensified his photographic activity.
