Biberschlag is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Bad Traunstein municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 16 building areas with 7,487 m² and 4 gardens on 185 m² in the cadastral community of Biberschlag , in 1989/1990 there were 12 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 23 and in 2009/2010 there were 14 buildings on 26 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 153 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 115 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 142 hectares and 121 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 138 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 120 hectares. The average soil climate number of Biberschlag is 29.8 (as of 2010).
