Pfaffings is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Bad Traunstein municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 15 building areas with 5,927 m² and 6 gardens on 178 m² in the cadastral municipality of Pfaffings , in 1989/1990 there were 15 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 44 and in 2009/2010 there were 27 buildings on 49 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 99 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 37 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 97 hectares and 38 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 88 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 43 hectares. The average soil climate of Pfaffings is 24.5 (as of 2010).
