Kathleen "Bird" York (* 20th century ) is an American actress , singer and songwriter .

Career

Kathleen York has had roles in numerous television series such as Dallas , The West Wing , OC, California , Dr. House , Desperate Housewives or CSI: Miami . In 2007, she played in horror - psychological thriller Sublime - alongside Tom Cavanagh and Paget Brewster - the role of Jenny .

York was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Song in 2006 for her film song In The Deep for the drama L.A. Crash (2004) . She also had a role in the film and sang the song live during the Academy Awards .
