Thomas Cavanagh
Thomas "Tom" Cavanagh (born October 26, 1963 in Ottawa ) is a Canadian actor .
Life
Thomas Cavanagh was born the second of five children. When he was six years old, his family moved to Ghana , where his father trained teachers. The family moved back to Canada before entering high school . Cavanagh later graduated from Queen's University in Kingston with degrees in English, biology, and education.
His interest in acting began with a role in a Grease performance. He then had numerous roles in television films and numerous guest appearances in television series ( The Sentinel - In the Eye of the Hunter , Outer Limits - The Unknown Dimension , Viper , Providence and Scrubs - The Beginners ).
He is best known for his portrayal of lawyer Ed Stevens in the television series Ed - The Bowling Lawyer , which was filmed from 2000 to 2004.
Since 2014, Cavanagh has been an integral part of the sci-fi crime series The Flash , in which he plays Harrison Wells .
He is married with two daughters and two sons.
