The Roman Catholic Diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio ( lat. : Dioecesis Place Tina Bobiensis , ital. : Diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio ) is in Italy situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Piacenza .
history
In the 4th century the diocese of Piacenza was established. On September 16, 1989, the former Bobbio diocese was separated from the Archdiocese of Genoa-Bobbio , to which it had been affiliated in 1986, and incorporated into the diocese of Piacenza.
The diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Modena-Nonantola as a suffragan .
