Blankenheim-Wald is a locality in the municipality of Blankenheim (Ahr) in the Euskirchen district in North Rhine-Westphalia . As of December 31, 2003, 69 residents were registered in Blankenheim-Wald, which is 492  m above sea level. NHN lies. The Urft flows through the Blankenheim-Wald location after about a third of its course from Schmidtheim to Nettersheim . In the west the communities Dahlem and Nettersheim border.

The federal road 258 runs north of Blankenheim-Wald and runs under federal road 51 on its route from Blankenheim to Schleiden shortly after Blankenheimerdorf . It used to run through the Blankenheim-Wald area on Alteburger Strasse and Urftstrasse. With the bypass, it was moved to the northern outskirts.

The place was created with the construction of the train station Blankenheim (Wald) in 1870 on the Eifel line Euskirchen - Trier , it is the only train station still in operation in the municipality of Blankenheim. From 1913 the Ahrdorf – Blankenheim line branched off there ; this connection was gradually closed from 1947 and gradually dismantled from 1963, most recently in 1980 the section Blankenheim (Ahr) - Blankenheim (forest).

Beyond the main road is the former Blankenheimerdorfer Mühle or Lentgesmühle . It was entered on May 18, 1987 under No. 1 in the list of monuments of the municipality of Blankenheim.

To the south, the Gräfliche Beissel'sche Revierförsterei Forsthaus Alteburg and then the Gut Altenburg and the remains of the neighboring Altenburg are connected via Alteburger Straße .
