Bleed from Within is a British deathcore band from Glasgow .
history
The band was formed in 2005 by musicians Scott Kennedy ( vocals ), Dave Lennon ( electric guitar ), Davie Provan ( bass ), Graig Gowans (guitar) and Ali Richardson ( drums ). In November 2005 they recorded their first EP In the Eyes of the Forgotten , which they produced and published themselves. Through shows in the opening act of bigger bands like I Killed the Prom Queen or The Black Dahlia Murder they gained a local base of fans. The second EP Welcome to the Plague Year was released on January 22nd, 2008, by the English label Four Aces Records .
In early 2008 the band signed a contract with Rising Records . Her debut album Humanity was released in the summer of 2009. Her second album, Empire , was released a year later. Compared to the previous album, Empire has more elements of Metalcore . At the end of November the band will tour Scotland , England , the Netherlands , Germany , Austria , Italy , Sweden and Finland . In February guitarist Dave Lennon announced his departure from the band. The group played in 2010 at the Summerblast Festival in Trier in front of almost 2,000 visitors. Other bands that played there were Dying Fetus , Here Comes the Kraken and Annotations of an Autopsy .
The group was seen at Summerbreeze and Pukkelpop in 2012 . In September and October Bleed from Within toured together with While She Sleeps , Crossfaith and Polar by the United Kingdom . Stations were in Birmingham , Manchester , Sheffield , Glasgow , Newcastle , Nottingham , Bristol , Portsmouth and London . Century Media announced in August that they had signed Bleed from Within. On October 2, 2012, the band released their song It Lives in Me for free download. It can also be found on the new album due to be released in spring 2013. A music video for It Lives in Me was also made.
The music video for Uprising premiered on the UK website of Metal Hammer music magazine on February 22, 2013 . The article states that the album will be released on March 25th. A tour of the UK is also planned for April, which will include ten gigs. The group is accompanied by Heart of a Coward . In April 2014, the group announced a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to help cover the costs of producing a new EP to bridge the waiting time for the upcoming album. This EP is called Death Walk and was only released on record in the course of 2014 .
