Bobby Portis (born February 10, 1995 in Little Rock , Arkansas ) is an American basketball player . He plays in the NBA as a power forward with the Washington Wizards .
NBA career
Portis played for the University of Arkansas for two years . In 2015 he signed up early for the NBA Draft , where he was selected in 22nd place by the Chicago Bulls . Portis played three and a half years for the Bulls, where he got 9.7 points and 5.8 rebounds. During this time there was a tussle between him and his teammate Nikola Mirotić in training, as a result of which Mirotić suffered facial fractures. Portis was then suspended for eight games. In February 2019 he was swapped with Jabari Parker to join the Washington Wizards . In return, Otto Porter switched to the Bulls.
