Konrad "Bobby" Schottkowski is a German drummer . Between 1996 and 2010 he was a member of the German thrash metal band Sodom . He was also active with the bands Crows , Fireball and Randalica .

Career

Schottkowski was one of the founding members of the Dortmund hard rock band Crows in 1981, whose only studio album The Dying Race was released in 1991. After the band Crows broke up, he played in 1995 under the pseudonym "Doppelbob" on the Randalica album Knast, Tod or Rock´n´Roll . This was a fun band from the editorial team of the German metal magazine Rock Hard .

Two years later, Schottkowski joined the band Sodom together with the guitarist Bernd "Bernemann" Kost , with whom he had already played with Crows and Randalica. With Sodom, Schottkowski released five studio albums and became the longest-serving drummer in the band's history. In spring 2011 he left the band due to personal differences between him and the singer Tom Angelripper .

Schottkowski can also be heard on Tom Angelripper's album I don't believe in Santa Claus . After leaving Sodom, Schottkowski joined the band Hungöver . The band consists of former members of, among others, Black Messiah , Jack Slater , Japanese combat radio plays and Gammalux . They released their first song Eyes of the Enemy online in 2012 . A first demo was produced by Waldemar Sorychta in 2012 . At the same time, a music video for Rolling Dead Man was released . Some live performances followed.

Since 2007, Schottkowski has been hosting the rock guerilla TV DVDs of Rock Hard magazine together with Tankard singer Andreas "Gerre" Geremia . In spring 2011 the two musicians appeared in three episodes of the ARD telenovela Sturm der Liebe .

In 2012, Schottkowski recorded the joint song Die Zwei von der Tanke with Geremia , which was released on the Rock Hard CD in the anniversary edition 300 and played live at the Rock Hard Festival , with Waldemar Sorychta on guitar. The latter also wrote the music. Nadja Herten contributed the foundation stone for the text.

2014 founded Schottkowki with Waldemar Sorychta, Swen O. Savior and singer The Duke band Dortmunder Jungs , supported by various guest musicians such as Sir Hannes Schmidt ( The Idiots , Honigdieb ) and Mika Kristian Karppinen of HIM football songs for Borussia Dortmund written. Their debut album Heimat was released on April 11, 2014 via Waldstreet Records (Intergroove).

After Hungöver's dissolution in 2017, Schottkowski joined the Dortmund band Mutant Proof in 2018 .
