Boubakary Soumaré (born February 27, 1999 in Paris) is a French football player who plays as a central midfielder for the Lille OSC in Ligue 1 .

Club career

Soumaré was part of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy from 2011 to 2017 as a promising talent in the youth field . He moved to league rivals OSC Lille in 2017 on a free transfer. Soumaré made his professional debut for Lille in Ligue 1 in a 3-0 win against FC Metz on November 5, 2017. He scored his first goal on May 5, 2019 in an away game against Olympique Lyon , which was 2-2 ended.

National team

Soumaré was born in Noisy-le-Sec (Paris) and is of Senegalese descent. He completed games for various youth selections in France.
