Yusuf Yazıcı (born January 29, 1997 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish football player . The midfielder is under contract with Lille OSC and is a senior international .
Career
society
Yazıcı started club football in 2008 in the youth department of Trabzonspor , the club of his hometown Trabzon. Towards the end of the first half of the 2015/16 season he received a professional contract with this club and was also involved in the training of the professionals from head coach Sadi Tekelioğlu . In the cup game on December 22, 2015 against Gaziantepspor , he finally made his professional debut. About six weeks later, Yazıcı also made his first division debut.
Yazıcı has been playing at Lille OSC in Ligue 1 since the 2019/20 season .
National team
Yazıcı began his national team career in 2016 with a commitment for the Turkish U19 national team . In the same year he made his debut for the U21 national team .
After he had been able to convince with his club for a long time, at the age of 20 he was nominated for the first time in his career by national coach Fatih Terim in the squad for the national team in two A-internationals . He made his international debut in the qualifying game for the 2018 World Cup against the Kosovar national team .
