Bradley "Brad" Leland (born September 15, 1954 in Lubbock , Texas ) is an American actor who became famous for the role of Buddy Garrity from the television series Friday Night Lights .

life and career

Brad Leland is from Lubbock, Texas, who later attended Plano High School , where he was part of the school football team, the Plano Wildcats . In 1980 he graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in acting and directing. After college, he moved to Dallas , where he took part in a number of plays. In the series of the same name he had one of his first appearances in front of the camera.

Leland works more often with director Peter Berg , who cast him in Friday Night Lights, Hancock and Deepwater Horizon. Privately, he has been married to Ramsey Williams since 1978 , who also appeared in several acting roles. Together they are parents of three children. Leland has been involved in over 80 film and television productions to date.
