The Rapp brewery is a medium-sized brewery in Kutzenhausen , which is located west of Augsburg in Reischenau . Although the brewery produces around one million hectoliters of beer and non-alcoholic beverages annually, its products are only available through the in-house beverage home delivery service. The brewery is family owned.

history

The company's origins go back to 1893, when Georg Johann Rapp acquired an inn with an attached brewery. Over the years the former pub brewery has grown into a company with over 500 employees. The fleet of the affiliated delivery service in Kutzenhausen comprises 200 trucks and supplies around 250,000 households in southern Germany.

Home service

The delivery area of ​​the home delivery service extends in the west to the French border, in the north to Würzburg and Erlangen , in the east to Regensburg and in the south from Traunstein to Villingen in the Black Forest .

Further north, in Lorsch in southern Hesse , there is another warehouse of the Rapp brewery with a slightly smaller range. Products

The products of the Rapp brewery are sold in their own returnable bottles (0.5 l). A bottle deposit will not be paid or refunded. The brewery picks up its own bottles on its next visit and these bottles are not accepted anywhere else.
