The house at Breite Straße 7 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located northeast of the city's market square and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the south is the also listed building at Breite Strasse 6 , to the north by the house at Breite Strasse 8 .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built by the master carpenter ANDREAS RÜHLE in 1686 according to an inscription . Various decorations can be found on the framework, such as diamond crosses , pyramid beam heads , lugs and ship throats . Above a beam head there is a rare ornament on the hem threshold .

In 1987 restoration work on the building was completed.
