Brensdorf is a district of the municipality of Stulln in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Brensdorf is located about two kilometers southeast of Stulln on the west bank of the Naab .

history

Beginnings to the 19th century

Brensdorf (also: Prembsdorf, Premstorf, Prembstorf, Premersdorf, Bremsdorf) was mentioned in writing as early as the 13th century. In 1212 Reichlint von Schwarzenfeld handed over her farm in Brensdorf to the Reichenbach monastery . Brensdorf was mentioned in a document from 1279. According to this document, Landgraves Friedrich II and Gebhard IV von Leuchtenberg transferred two farms in Brensdorf to the Waldsassen monastery . In 1286, Kunigunde, Heinrich von Meischendorf's widow, handed over two farms in Brensdorf to the Waldsassen monastery in return for the assurance of a burial place. Konrad von Lupburg and Otto von Krondorf gave two farms in Brensdorf to the Waldsassen monastery in 1288.

In Salbuch of 1473/75 Brensdorf was mentioned.

In the directory of Turkish Aid , 1595, of the Stein manor , Brensdorf was listed with a subject and a host. In the interest book of Hofmark Weihern from 1597, a subject in Brensdorf is noted as belonging to Weihern.

In 1606 there were 6 farms in Brensdorf, one estate, 11 horses, 4 foals, 10 oxen, 24 cows, 22 cattle, 7 pigs, 70 sheep and 6 newborns belonging to the Nabburg care office. A farm, 2 residents , 2 oxen, 2 horses, 3 cows, 4 calves, 2 pigs and a newborn belonged to the free-owned Hofmark Guteneck in Brensdorf in 1630 . A farm, 3 horses, 4 cows, 6 cattle and 6 newborns were part of the Leuchtenberg fiefdom of Stein in Brensdorf in 1630.

In 1665 Baron von Schrenk bought a subject in Brensdorf. In 1756, Count Aloys Bonaventura von Kreuth and his wife Maria Franziska sold the Stein estate to Joseph Ignati Corbinian von Korb and his wife Maria Catharina Franziska, née Haan, to the government councilor and chairman of the Jews in Sulzbach. The sale concerned 40 land and court holden , including one in Brensdorf. He was allodial .

At the end of the 18th century, Brensdorf was a place with mixed jurisdictions. In Brensdorf 7 properties belonged to the Nabburg nursing office, landable to the church in Nabburg, a shepherd's house was owned by the community, there was a Paulsdorf fief, a property and a tailor belonged to Hofmark Guteneck, a property to Stein and a subject to Tännesberg .

19th century to the present

1811 Brensdorf part of the tax district and chairman shaft Stulln. When rural communities were formed in 1819 , Brensdorf came to the rural community of Stulln with 18 families. In 1828 Brensdorf had 12 residential buildings, 12 families and 82 residents. It was exclusively Catholic and belonged to the Stulln branch church, which was part of the Schwarzenfeld parish. The children went to school in Schwarzenfeld.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Brensdorf was listed as part of the Schwarzenfeld parish with 18 houses and 126 inhabitants. In 1964 Brensdorf belonged to the municipality of Stulln and had 21 residential buildings and 110 residents.
