The Town of Brigham is located in southwest Wisconsin, on the south bank of the Wisconsin River , a left tributary of the Mississippi . The intersection of the three states of Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota, located on the Mississippi, is around 165 km to the northwest; to Illinois it is around 65 km south.
The geographical coordinates of the center of the Town of Brigham are 42 ° 59'41 "north latitude and 89 ° 53'45" west longitude. It extends over an area of 166 km². The Town of Brigham completely encloses the Village of Barneveld without it being part of the Town.

US Highways 18 and 151 run through the town in a west-east direction on a shared stretch of road . In addition, the County Highways F, K, T and H run through the area of the Town of Brigham. All other roads are subordinate country roads and some unpaved roads.
With the Iowa County Airport there is a small airfield about 40 km west-southwest. The nearest commercial airports are Dubuque Regional Airport in Iowa (around 115 km southwest), Chicago Rockford International Airport (around 140 km southeast) and Dane County Regional Airport in Wisconsin's capital Madison (around 65 km east-northeast).
