Bryan Gil Salvatierra (born January 11, 2001 ) is a Spanish soccer player who is currently under contract with the first division club Sevilla FC .
Career
society
Bryan Gil moved in 2012 into the youth academy of FC Sevilla , having previously for his hometown club Barbate CF had played. For the 2018/19 season he was promoted to the squad of the reserve team, which played in the third highest Spanish division . He then made his professional debut on August 26, 2018 in the 0-1 home defeat against UD Ibiza . He scored his first goal two weeks later in a 2-1 home win over CD San Fernando . On December 12th, he signed a contract with Hispalenses until the summer of 2022.
He made his LaLiga debut on January 6, 2019 . In the 1-1 draw at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán at home against Atlético Madrid , he was substituted on for Wissam Ben Yedder in the closing stages . Then he came in addition to his appearances in the reserve team as a substitute in the first team for use. On April 25, he scored in a 5-0 home win against Rayo Vallecano , becoming the first player born in the 21st century to score in the top Spanish league. By the end of the 2018/19 season he was able to collect eleven appearances in the LaLiga.
After he had only played two league games in the following season 2019/20 until the end of January 2020, he was loaned to the league competitor CD Leganés on January 30, 2020 until the end of the season . There he was often used as a substitute and on July 19, 2020 (38th matchday) he scored his only one in 12 league appearances for the Pepineros in the 2-2 draw against Real Madrid . With the club he had to accept relegation to the second-rate Segunda División , which he escaped with his return to his home club Sevilla FC.
National team
Gil has represented his home country in various junior national teams so far. With the U19 he took part in the U-19 European Championships in Armenia . In this he was used in all games and was able to win the tournament with Spain.
