The Bundestag constituency Berlin-Steglitz - Zehlendorf (constituency 79) is one of twelve Berlin constituencies for the elections to the German Bundestag and includes the district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf .
In 1990 the constituency was number 252; In 1994 and 1998 it was number 253. In 2002, 2005 and 2009 it was number 80. Since 2013 it has been number 79. In 1990, the southeastern part of the former Steglitz district belonged to the then neighboring constituency 255 Berlin-Tempelhof .

With this, Karl-Georg Wellmann defended the direct mandate for the CDU in the Berlin-Steglitz-Zehlendorf constituency in the 2009 Bundestag election . Klaus Uwe Benneter (SPD) lost his seat in the Bundestag because his 5th place on the SPD's Berlin state list was not enough for him to return to the Bundestag.
