The Bundestag constituency Berlin-Charlottenburg - Wilmersdorf (constituency 80) is one of twelve Berlin constituencies for the elections to the German Bundestag and includes the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf without the area north of the Spree ( Kalowswerder and Charlottenburg-Nord ).

With this, Petra-Evelyne Merkel defended the direct mandate for the SPD in the constituency of Charlottenburg - Wilmersdorf. Elisabeth Paus also entered the Bundestag via her party's state list . According to journalist Michael Spreng , many CDU voters chose Petra-Evelyne Merkel because they accused the CDU candidate Ingo Schmitt of harming the Berlin CDU. The corresponding slogan was "Elect Merkel twice".
