Frankenthal Bundestag constituency

The Frankenthal Bundestag constituency was a constituency in Rhineland-Palatinate from 1965 to 2002 . Most recently it comprised the independent city of Frankenthal (Palatinate) , the Donnersbergkreis , from the Ludwigshafen district the community Bobenheim-Roxheim as well as the association communities Lambsheim-Heßheim and Maxdorf and from the district Bad Dürkheim the community Grünstadt and the association communities Grünstadt-Land and Hettenleidelheim .

After the electoral district of Frankenthal was dissolved, its area was divided into the constituencies of Ludwigshafen / Frankenthal , Neustadt - Speyer and Kaiserslautern for the 2002 federal election . The constituency was always won by candidates from the SPD , most recently by Gustav Herzog .
