The Bundestag constituency Kamenz - Hoyerswerda - Großenhain was a constituency in Saxony in the Bundestag elections in 2002 and 2005 . It had the constituency number 156 and included the formerly independent town of Hoyerswerda and the former district of Kamenz as well as the towns of Großenhain , Gröditz and the communities of Ebersbach , Glaubitz , Lampertswalde , Nünchritz , Priestewitz , Röderaue , Schönfeld , Tauscha , Thiendorf , Weißig a.Raschütz , Wildenhain , Wülknitz , Zabeltitz of the former district of Riesa-Großenhain .
With the district reform of 2008, the constituencies in Saxony were fundamentally redesigned. The constituency Kamenz - Hoyerswerda - Großenhain was dissolved. Hoyerswerda and most of the former district of Kamenz were assigned to the Bundestag constituency of Bautzen I for the 2009 federal election , with the exception of a few communities from the Dresden area, which changed to the Bundestag constituency Dresden II - Bautzen II . The communities of the former district of Riesa-Großenhain came to the new Bundestag constituency of Meissen .
