The castle Urhausen is an Outbound hilltop castle ( tower castle ) at 245  m above sea level. NN in the area of ​​the Urhausen desert on the northern border of the Bieringen mark and today's district of Bieringen in the community of Schöntal in Hohenlohekreis in Baden-Württemberg .

After the Lords of Boxberg were named as owners in 1228, the Lords of Urhausen were named from 1308 to 1505. In 1434 the castle complex was named Burgstall after several changes of ownership and passed to the Lords of Aschhausen.
