The ruin Stein is an abandoned castle in the lower former village of Stein von Westernhausen , a district of the community Schöntal in Hohenlohekreis in Baden-Württemberg .

The small castle was only mentioned as a castle stable in 1305, i.e. as a castle that had already been lost at that time. It was hidden under wood for several centuries and still shows small remains of a rectangular residential tower with sides of 17.1 × 9.2 meters.
