Busuanga is a Filipino municipality in the province of Palawan . It has 22,046 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census).
The municipality of Busuanga consists of the western third of the island of Busuanga , which belongs to the archipelago of the Calamian Islands , between Mindoro and the island of Palawan . There is a Western Philippines University campus in the community .
On the territory of the municipality lies the Game Reserve Calauit Game Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary , where African was settled big game.
