CIMB KL Open Championship 2009

The CIMB KL Open Championship 2009 took place from March 4th to 7th, 2009 in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2008/09 and belonged to Category 5 Star . It was endowed with $ 50,000.

The defending champion was Ong Beng Hee , who lost to Adrian Grant in the semifinals . In the final, Grant met the top seeded Peter Barker , who clearly won the game with 11: 6, 11: 2 and 11: 4.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan a spot in the main draw.
