Kuala Lumpur Open Squash Championships

The Kuala Lumpur Open Squash Championships have been an annual squash tournament for men and women since 2002 . It takes place in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia and is part of the men's PSA World Tour and the women's WSA World Series .

The men's tournament, which has only been held since 2006, currently belongs to the International 50 category . The total prize money is 50,000 US dollars . For the women, the tournament belongs to the World Series Gold category and has a total prize pool of US $ 70,000.

With seven titles, Nicol David is the record winner for women, while Karim Darwish is the only one to have won the men's tournament twice in 2011 and 2013.
