CSI Hachenburg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The CSI *** Hachenburg , also known as the International Hachenburger Reitfestival , was an international show jumping tournament ( CSI ). In 2012 it was held for the 21st time in Hattert near the city of Hachenburg . Since 2013, instead of the CSI, a summer meeting of show jumpers has been held , a national show jumping tournament.

The tournament

The CSI Hachenburg was the most highly endowed horse show in Rhineland-Palatinate. As a CSI 3 *, it counted to the third heaviest category of international horse shows. from 2008 a CSIAm-A / CSIAm-B (international amateur tournament) will also be part of the tournament. The tournament is held from Thursday to Sunday in July or August. There were around ten international jumping competitions as part of the tournament .

The date for the show jumping summer meeting was kept in August. The tournament is organized by the Rotbachthaler Reitclub eV together with the local event agency GL INNOVATION.

Exams until 2012

The tournament was divided into several series of tests, which differed in difficulty.

National exams

On the morning of the first three days of the tournament, amateur jumping competitions were held. These should give riders who, due to their work, can only pursue riding as their hobby in their free time, the opportunity to participate in major tournaments. The organizer was the amateur show jumping club Germany eV, the jumping competitions were announced up to the S * level with a winning round.

The regional championships were also part of the morning program of the CSI Hachenburg. This was aimed at riders from the region, the tests were also announced up to class S * with a winning round. The qualification for this test took place during the May Festival, which was also held in Hattert (national horse show up to class S *).

SML tour

The SML tour, advertised as CSIAm-A / CSIAm-B, was aimed at amateurs and horse owners who are active as riders themselves. The SML-Tour consisted of three sub-series (Small, Medium, Large) and its test level was significantly below (Small), slightly below (Medium) or at a similar level (Large - exams up to class S *) as the national amateur Tour, however, was advertised internationally.

Youngster Tour

The Youngster Tour consisted of three tests and was part of the CSI 3 *. Riders with young show jumpers between the ages of seven and eight were entitled to start. The tests were announced up to class S * with jump-offs (up to 1.40 meters), whereby the jumps for the eight-year-old horses were increased. The exams took place on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Medium tour

The middle tour consisted of three class S tests. The highlight of the tour was the finale of the middle tour on Sunday afternoon. This was announced as a jumping competition in the S ** class with a winning lap over 1.45 meters.

Big tour

The big tour also included three tests, each of which was endowed with at least € 10,000. The highlight of this tour was the Grand Prix of Rhineland-Palatinate, an international jumping competition in the S *** class with two rounds. The obstacles were up to 1.55 meters high. In 2010 this was endowed with around € 65,000.

Exams since 2013

In 2013, the tournament was only held on a much smaller scale, the program included jumping competitions up to L level and jumping competitions up to M * level. Since 2014, the summer meeting has again included jumping competitions up to S ** level.

The winners of the main jumping test

Since 1999, won Ludger Beerbaum five times the Grand Prix, most recently in 2004. He rode a total of only three horses: Neron de la Tourelle , Gold Fever and Gladdys S . In 2005 his brother Markus Beerbaum won with Constantin , in 2006 his sister-in-law Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum won with Shutterfly .
