The Cadre-71/2 World Cup 1936 was the seventh Cadre 71/2 World Championship. The tournament took place from April 16 to 9, 1936 in what was then the German billiards stronghold of Cologne . It was the first Cadre 71/2 World Championship in Germany.

history

The Belgian Gustave van Belle reinforced his former position in Cadre 71/2 at the World Championships in the Höfbräu in Cologne. With all tournament best performances, whereby the general average (GD) of 15.32 and the best individual average (BED) of 37.50 were new world records, van Belle won the fourth title. Only in the game against his compatriot Gaston de Doncker was the outcome very close with 300: 294 in 26 shots. The German participants did quite well in their own country, as no German championship had been held in Cadre 71/2 until 1936.

Tournament mode

A final round in the round robin system up to 300 points was played. In the event of a tie in the MPs, the following order is taken:

  1. MP = match points
  2. GD = general average
  3. HS = maximum series
