Constant Côte (born January 8 or June 8, 1909 or 1910 in Lyon , France , † March 1984 ) was a French carambola player in the classic disciplines of free game and cadre .

biography

Although Côte climbed 15 world championship podiums during his career, very little is known about him. According to the various sources, his dates of birth are given both in the month and in the year with two different dates each, and the exact date of his death is not known.

Côte was French youth champion in 1926 and 1927, French champion in the free game in 1934, 1936 and 1937; in Cadre  45/2 1936, 1937 and 1938; in Cadre 71/2 1934 1935, and 1937 in the pentathlon ( Pentathlon ) 1938. 1937 Côte world and European champion Cadre 45/1 and world champion Cadre 71/2 1937 to the hitherto best ever applicable Gustave van Belle from Belgium. He also won the “Coupe Glorieux” (team) in 1934, 1936 and 1937. He later became a professional player under Roger Conti's guidance.
