history

Gustave van Belle won his second world championship title in Cadre 71/2 with a new world record in the general average (GD) of 14.58 . Second placed Jacques Davin improved the world record held by van Belle in the top series to 150 . The German Carl Foerster traveled to Lille with high hopes. He achieved very good results in training in the run-up to the World Cup. Unfortunately he broke two ribs and was only able to play with severe pain and only finished seventh in the end.
