Candon is a city in the Philippine province of Ilocos Sur . In 2015, 60,623 people lived in the 103.3 km² area. This results in a population density of 587 inhabitants per km². A large part of the population lives from agriculture and fishing. Like Vigan, Candon owns some old Spanish houses and churches.
