Salcedo (Baugen) is a municipality in the Philippine province of Ilocos Sur . In 2015, 11,288 people lived in the 103.4 km² area, resulting in a population density of 109 inhabitants per km². The area is mostly hilly, but rises steeply to 800 meters in the east.
