San Juan (Lapog) is a municipality in the Philippine province of Ilocos Sur and is located on the South China Sea . In the east it borders on the two provinces of Ilocos Norte and Abra . In 2015 it had 26,411 inhabitants. Most of the people live in the mainly flat area from growing rice and tobacco . The community, which was renamed from Lapog to San Juan on June 18, 1961, has several beaches. Some of them are in Lapog Bay .
