Santa is a municipality in the Philippine province of Ilocos Sur and is located on the South China Sea . In 2015 it had 15,340 inhabitants. Santa was founded by Augustinians in 1576 . The terrain is very steep in places and parts of the Northern Luzon Heroes Hill National Park are in the municipality's territory.
