Sugpon is a municipality in the Philippine province of Ilocos Sur . It borders on the province of Benguet to the east and the province of La Union to the west . In the mountainous terrain, most of the people live from agriculture. A large part of the population belongs to the indigenous tribe of the Kankanaey.
