Caribbean Premier League 2019

The Caribbean Premier League in 2019 was the seventh season of the Twenty20 - Cricket championship and was held August 8 to October 12 of 2019. In the final, the Barbados Tridents prevailed against the Guyana Amazon Warriors with 27 runs.

Six franchises took part in the tournament this season. The playoffs were played at Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyanese, and at Brian Lara Stadium in San Fernando , Trinidad .

format

In the preliminary round, each of the six teams played two games against each other. In principle, a home and an away game were played, with individual games taking place on a neutral pitch. There were two points for a win, one for a draw or no result . The four best placed in the group then qualified for the play-offs, which were held in the page playoff system .
