Caribbean Premier League 2018
The Caribbean Premier League in 2018 was the sixth season of the Twenty20 - Cricket championship and took place from 8 August to 16 September 2018th In addition to the cricket stadiums in the Caribbean, matches were also played in Lauderhill in the United States . In the final, the Trinbago Knight Riders were able to prevail against the Guyana Amazon Warriors with 8 wickets.

Six franchises took part in the tournament this season. In addition to their home stadiums, three preliminary round games were held in Lauderhill, Florida in the USA. The playoffs were played at Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyanese, and at Brian Lara Stadium in San Fernando , Trinidad .

In the preliminary round, each of the six teams played two games against each other. In principle, a home and an away game were played, with individual games taking place on a neutral pitch. There were two points for a win, one for a draw or no result . The four best placed in the group then qualified for the play-offs, which were held in the page playoff system .
