Carlo Montagnini

Carlo Montagnini (born June 2, 1863 in Casale Monferrato , Alessandria Province , Italy ; † October 24, 1913 in Bogotá , Colombia ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican diplomat .

Life

Carlo Montagnini received on 19 December 1885 sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 31, 1913 appointed him Pope Pius X to Titular Archbishop of Larissa and ordered him to the apostolic delegate in Colombia . The Archbishop of Bogotá , Bernardo Herrera Restrepo , donated him episcopal ordination on June 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Ibagué , Ismael Perdomo Borrero , and the Bishop of Tunja , Eduardo Maldonado Calvo .
