Carlos Raul Najurieta (born October 24, 1924 in Partido Avellaneda ) is a former Argentine racing car driver .

Racing career

Carlos Najurieta was a well-known and successful racing car driver in Argentina in the 1950s. After a second place behind Enrique Sáenz-Valiente in 1954, he was Argentine sports car champion in 1955 in a Ferrari ahead of Sáenz-Valiente and Alberto Rodríguez Larreta . In 1956 he was again overall runner-up in this championship and won the 500-mile race by Rafaela .

He competed four times in the 1000 km race in Buenos Aires . Best finish was second place with César Rivero in the Ferrari 375 MM in the sports car world championship in 1955 scoring race .
