Carmona ( Tagalog : Bayan ng Carmona) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Cavite , in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 97,557 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 14 barangays . It is classified as the first income class community in the Philippines and as urbanized .
Carmona is in the east of the province, on the border with the Laguna province . The topography of the municipality is characterized by the flat, undulating terrain of the foothills of the central Luzon plain. Their neighboring communities are Biñan City in the east, General Mariano Alvarez in the northwest and Silang in the south.
