Caroline Chepkorir Kwambai (born September 9, 1975 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

Career

In 1990 she won the gold medal with the team in fourth place at the junior women’s race at the World Cross Country Championships in Aix-les-Bains .

In 2000 she was third in the Route du Vin . In the following year she was second in the 20 van Alphen and the CPC Loop Den Haag , third in the Paderborn Easter run over 10 km and in twelfth place won gold with the Kenyan team at the World Half Marathon Championships in Bristol .

In 2003 she won the Würzburg Residence Run as well as the 25 km from Berlin and came second in the Amsterdam Marathon .

In 2006 she set a course record in the Prague Half Marathon and came second in the Prague Marathon and eighth in the Dublin Marathon .

In 2007 she won the Paris half marathon , came second in the Prague half marathon and the Turin marathon , fifth in the Delhi half marathon and third in the Singapore marathon . The next season she was second in the Prague half marathon, third in the Prague marathon, sixth in the Portugal half marathon and fourth in the Venice marathon . In 2009 she finished fifth in the Prague half marathon, and in 2010 she won the La Lagarina half marathon .
