Cedar Grove is an unincorporated community ( unincorporated area ) in Bay County in the US state of Florida .

Cedar Grove is directly adjacent to the cities of Panama City , Lynn Haven and Springfield and is approximately 130 km west of Tallahassee . The place is crossed by the US Highways 231 ( SR 75 ) and 98 ( SR 30A ) and the Florida State Roads 389 and 390 .
history
Cedarg Grove was from 1951 to 2008 an independent city ( town ). However, a referendum voted for the dissolution of the municipality with effect from October 22, 2008. Since then, Cedar Grove has been directly co-administered by the county .
