The 2006 Challenge Cup (also known as the Powergen Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 105th edition of the annual Challenge Cup rugby league tournament . In the final, the St Helens RLFC won 42:12 against the Huddersfield Giants and won the tournament for the 10th time.
