Christian Wallenreiter
Christian Carl Wallenreiter (born July 25, 1900 in Friedberg near Augsburg , † August 18, 1980 in Munich ) was a German administrative lawyer and broadcast director .
After graduating from high school, Wallenreiter studied law and economics. During his studies he became a member of the AGV Munich . He then held various official positions. In 1960 he was elected director of Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR), and remained so until 1972. In this capacity, he was chairman of ARD between 1967 and 1969 . In 1968 the TR Publishing Union was founded on his initiative .
